Joshua Ward (b.1995) is a multi-disciplinary artist and creative currently living and working as a Senior Creative Assistant in London.

 

As an artist, his practice focuses on a number of themes stemming from his exposure to post-industrial landscapes as a young child growing up in an old glass and coal town on Merseyside. Joshua primarily uses analogue technology, found materials and hands-on techniques in order to create an aesthetic which references post-industrial spaces and the people who lived and worked in them.

 

This love of art led him to take up art in all levels of higher education, which eventually culminated in achieving a 2:1 in BA Fine Art at Goldsmiths, University of London.

 

Since graduating from Goldsmiths in 2018, he has undertaken a number of roles within the art sector, which include: Graphic Designer, Photographer, Digital Marketer, Social Media Content Creator and Manager. These roles have been with a numerous companies in a number of fields such as jewellery designers featured in Vogue and The New York Times, restaurants and a luxury art house specialising in the customisation of luxury items from fashion houses such as Gucci and Hermes.
